Cooler Master Hyper 212: New CPU cooler with RGB lighting unveiled
Cooler Master adds a new model to its Hyper series of CPU coolers. The Cooler Master Hyper 212 comes in white or black color and aims to score with advanced heatsink and fan technologies.
The centerpiece of the Cooler Master Hyper 212 series is the new and innovative Halo² fan, which is supposed to outperform its predecessor in all respects. The 4-heatpipe tower has now been given a matching color treatment and a matching top cover, which features the manufacturer's logo.
In the process, the CPU cooler comes in at a height of just 154mm, making it compatible with most PC cases and RAM orientations. The updated mounting brackets are said to be usable with all current platforms and are particularly easy to install.
In terms of design, the Hyper 212 Halo Black and Hyper 212 Halo White come with matching cooling solutions for dark and light builds, allowing for color matching.
